Research, field investigation and recovery support
Scout Consulting Group supports case-based work end to end: historical research, site identification, field investigation, recovery, transfer coordination, and remembrance. Every stage is documented, and the record we hand over is the deliverable.

Where we work
In the archive and in the field. The work is documentary before it is physical: record sets, land-use and infrastructure records, and the accounts of the people who remember a place.
Fieldwork follows the authorizations that apply to each site, and every stage is recorded as it happens.
Sources we work from
- Archival and historical record sets
- Cadastral, land-use, and infrastructure records
- Local accounts and oral history
- Surviving place names and site markers
